Research and Scholarship Support

Librarians are available to:

  • answer reference questions, and provide in-depth research assistance;
  • prepare bibliographies;
  • compile legislative histories;
  • initiate intra- and inter-library loan requests;
  • train and provide guidance to research assistants;
  • purchase office copies;
  • support the use of electronic resources, including current awareness services;
  • obtain Lexis, Westlaw and Bloomberg passwords;
  • promote faculty scholarship;

Teaching Support

We are also available to:

  • offer in-class and in-Library legal research instruction;
  • develop class-specific research guides and bibliographies;
  • host Law Library tours;
  • assist with advancement of student learning initiatives;
  • support video and other multi-media in the classroom;
  • guide students as they prepare assignments;
  • maintain an online exam archive;
  • host hard-copy and digital course reserves; and
  • assist with TWEN, CALI, Sakai, etc..
