Welcome!

This research guide is for Pepperdine Law students who are working overseas for the Nootbaar Institute for Law, Religion, and Ethics Global Justice Program.

It provides information about online resources for researching the laws of several countries in which Global Justice students serve, including Rwanda, Uganda, and Ghana.

Please review the information about foreign law and foreign legal resources before diving into the country-specific resources listed in this guide. The more you learn about the country before you start your research, as recommended in the foreign law research process section, the easier your research will be.

If you are a current or former participant in the Global Justice Program, and you have information about additional resources that are not discussed in this guide, please contact the library's Foreign, Comparative, and International Law (FCIL) librarian, Jennifer Allison.

Jennifer can also provide reference support, by email, to students working in any of Pepperdine's Global Justice locations.
